JKAAF will conduct a Shodan, Nidan, and Sandan exam, as well as "D" level Instructor, Judge, and Qualifications exams on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. at LKA, 706 Phosphor Ave #C, Metairie, LA 70005.  Registrations are due by November 14, 2025.  No registrations will be permitted after that date.  For fees and eligibility requirements, click here.

Referee Clinic

Also on Friday, November 21, JKAAF will host a complimentary referee clinic from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm, at UNO Human Performance Center, 5121 Leon C Simon Dr., New Orleans, LA 70122.  Registration is not required and the event is open to everyone interested in preparing for their judging Qualifications exams.  Judges for the national tournament are expected to attend.

National Tournament

The National Tournament will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at UNO, Human Performance Center, 5121 Leon C Simon Dr., New Orleans, LA 70122.  The tournament begins at 9:00 am.  Registrations are due by November 14, 2025.  All registrations submitted after that date will incur a $35 late fee.  For more information, look at the info packet and scroll down for pricing information and rules.

JKAAF End of Year Meeting

This year the annual end-of-year meeting will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 10 am until 12 pm at LKA, 706 C Phosphor Ave., Metairie, LA 70005.  The meeting will also be streaming via zoom for those unable to attend in person
